The UK’s largest park home estate will welcome prospective park home buyers at a series of open day events over the coming months.

Kings Park Village, on Canvey Island in Essex, is set to host the events on 5 and 6 July and 30 and 31 August.

Visitors to the events will get the chance to step inside brand new show homes, as well as explore the sprawling estate, which currently plays host to 850 owner-occupied park homes, as well as a small number of rental units.

At the time of going to press, there was a two bedroom 42ft x 20 Prestige Homeseeker Sonata II available for just £247,950. The home also boasts two bathrooms, as well as four bay windows with Georgian-style glazing bars, creating bright, modern living spaces. The exterior features decorative corner stones and a dormer gable-end over the front door. There are also a number of private home sales taking place on the park with prices ranging from £90,000 to £250,000. Details of these homes are advertised in the local estate agents.

Kings Park Village is the biggest park in the country and also one of the best established. The picturesque lake is one of the park’s most treasured features. It provides a haven for an array of wildlife, as well as being excellent for fishing. The flowers and shrubs are abundant, too.

All residents of Kings Park Village must be over 50. On-site park wardens are there to protect residents, day and night, every day of the year, within the enclosed 70-acre gated community.

The residents’ social club committee works hard at arranging various evening and daytime activities, making the park a real community hub in itself. All tastes are catered for including dinner-dances, discos, line dancing, bingo, barbecues and day trips.

There is a well-stocked convenience store on the park, while shops, GPs and dental surgeries are in the town centre – just a ten-minute walk away.

There is also a bus stop right outside the park’s entrance.
