One of the UK’s leading park and holiday home manufacturers has appointed a new group managing director, David Cox

Omar Group is pleased to announce, with the continued growth and expansion of the company, the position of Group Managing Director has been reintroduced. This position will provide additional senior management bandwidth to the directors and assist with the management of the businesses’ five portfolio brands. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in manufacturing operations, David Cox joins the group, assuming the role of Group Managing Director on 19th March 2018.

David has experience managing a diverse range of manufacturing and engineering businesses including blue-chip multi-nationals and a stand-alone SME (two of which were in the construction products sector). He has worked overseas and has senior leadership experience with CarnaudMetalbox Engineering, IMI Precision Engineering and Saint-Gobain, as well as exposure to private equity. With a passion for business and developing strong customer relationships, as well as a proven track record of significant successful change management, David will play a vital role in the management of Omar Group working closely with group chairman and chief executive Dean Westmoreland, who will continue to lead the group.
