Following the Prime Minister’s address to the nation, outlining a ‘roadmap’ for the easing of current coronavirus restrictions, the organiser of the Stoneleigh and Ardingly shows released an important statement…

The organiser of the UK’s two main dedicated mobile home events has responded optimistically to the Government’s plans to ‘unlock’ the nation from the current Covid-19 restrictions.

Jo Turner, of MPM Events, said: ‘It was so encouraging to hear such positive and optimistic news from Boris Johnson on 22 February regarding the easing of lockdown.’

In a message to the trade, Jo continued: ‘Thankfully, included in the target dateline was the go-ahead for events to run from mid-May and we are, therefore, enormously looking forward to running a successful Stoneleigh Show from 10 to 13 June.

‘Already, we have had many enquiries from those wishing to support and visit the event, along with our South of England Show at Ardingly, which is scheduled to run from 12 to 15 August. There certainly seems to be a huge desire to get out and about after the restrictions of the past year.

‘There is a fantastic public interest in the park and leisure lifestyle in these current times – our shows should certainly provide exhibitors and supporters with an excellent opportunity to benefit from this. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with you again soon.’
