With a chic and classic country house interior, Willerby’s new Pinehurst cuts a fine dash, as Bella Brodie finds out…

Newly revamped with a fresh colour scheme for 2020, the Pinehurst is a lodge that is perfect for those who like a classy interior with a traditional feel. The well thought-out design is open and airy, making it popular with those looking for the perfect weekend bolthole.

ACCOMMODATION
There are two different layouts available: a two- bedroom and a three-bedroom version; both in a 40ft x 20 footprint. The main difference is that the family bathroom flips from one side to the other to allow room for a twin bedroom in addition to the two doubles, and the living area loses a few inches in length, but not enough that you’d notice!

The open layout of the living area with kitchen island makes it feel really spacious, and a generous utility room makes it a hit not only with pet owners but with those with young children in the family – and that comes complete with very handy storage seat and coat hooks.

The master suite has a walk-in wardrobe and en suite shower room in both versions, so it should tick all boxes for potential buyers from a wish-list perspective.

EXTERNAL FEATURES
Vinyl cladding in white is the default cladding for the Pinehurst, although other options are available, and energy efficient white uPVC double-glazed windows and doors keep things light and bright while also retaining warmth throughout.
A fully galvanised chassis is an option on this model, so that makes it particularly good as a long-term holiday home investment for coastal locations.

INTERNAL APPOINTMENT
There’s a luxurious feel throughout in the fine detail of the Pinehurst, such as the brushed chrome and white sockets and USB outlets, and other plus points such as the attic storage space.
We really liked the light and bright feel of the soft furnishings and think the blue tones give it a great holiday vibe, anchored by the warm tones of the flooring, adding that luxury feel underfoot.

LIVING AREA
The open-plan living area feels very spacious and should flow well practically, too. In the lounge a three-piece suite includes a love seat, two seater sofa, armchair and scatter cushions.

There’s a bay window to the front elevation, and a single sliding door allows an easy exit route to decking.
