We take a look at a fabulous all-new addition to Omar’s range of luxury lodges, recently launched at the World of Park and Leisure Homes – the Atrium.

Omar always has a diverse range of homes on display at the main industry shows, and that usually includes several luxury lodge options really set to inspire. Perhaps the most eye-catching this year – standing proudly at the front of its stand – was the Atrium. Right from the outset, this gorgeous model really stood out, with its folding doors to the lounge thrown open to invite in the sunshine and a few visitors to explore it further.Septomar1

The first thing you notice about the Atrium is how appropriate its name is. If the main definition of ‘atrium’ is an open-roofed entrance hall or central court, that’s exactly how this feels – light, airy and spacious. It uses visual intrigue to draw you in to explore further. You can tell straight away that it’s going to deliver that all-important luxurious feel inside. Yet when you step inside you realise how it is designed to make the most of the outside too, with the folding windows from the lounge to take in a great view, and light streaming in from above through three large Velux windows.

If you are looking for a contemporary- styled luxury lodge with holiday practicality and style that offers something a little bit different, look no further!

Size and layoutSeptomar2 The Atrium reviewed here is a 45ft x 20 model, although it feels much larger. The living area is open plan, with a centre lounge for views to one side, and kitchen/diner to the other. It is balanced by a bedroom and en suite to each end, although in the 50ft x 20 three-bedroom version there are two bedrooms at one end, and there’s an entrance hall and family shower room in between. There’s also a 40ft x 20 two-bedroom option at the ready as a third option.

External features
Clad in River Rock Canexel, and available in a range of other colours and claddings, the symmetrical exterior has a wonderful holiday vibe thanks to folding doors to the living area and French doors to each bedroom. As shown here it really does lend itself to a view and decking the length of the lodge to one side, and for those who like to make sure they have plenty of space to sit and take in the air or simply a choice of spot for a bit of peace and quiet, this lodge delivers more than usual due to its layout and design.
