Bella Brodie reports on a calming, restful park home from Prestige Homeseeker

The Residence is a home that has a history of creating waves and making an impact, so the new version which has just launched was eagerly awaited by those in the know. This urban-cool residential home screams glossy apartment-style chic and, just as its predecessor cemented its place as one of Prestige Homeseeker’s best loved residential homes, the new version looks set to emulate its popularity with buyers.

EXTERNAL APPEARANCE
The Residence has a modernistic feel, with horizontal cladding in an anthracite grey shade around the window areas; although to the front elevation the windows are bordered by a light cream surround first, which makes it feel framed – a very pleasing aesthetic effect. The area around the door is also in a smooth light cream finish under an apex canopy roof so the overall impression is of a home which will be both memorable and recognisable out on parks.

INTERNAL APPOINTMENT
Inside, the vibe is contemporary, urban and chic, with shades which are bang on-trend, but will also stand the test of time well too as there’s nothing not to love. This is quite a fresh, new design with key areas such as the kitchen and bathrooms having stand-out appeal which is bound to tug at any buyer’s heart and purse strings to make an offer quickly.

Although its marketed as an ‘affordable’ residential option it has a luxurious and classy feel, so Prestige Homeseeker has done a great job here. There are a few extras well above the expected pay grade too, such as the waterfall shower, lighting and mirrored wardrobes, chrome switches and trim. It’s that level of attention to detail in the design that adds to the design to ensure it delivers on all fronts. Most of the rooms are vaulted in the Residence, which makes it feel really light and bright throughout.

ACCOMMODATION AND LAYOUT
An entrance hall leads to the kitchen/diner but is also clearly defined by a dividing wall with inset glazing. Opposite that is the rear door, which leads straight into the kitchen for easy access to tuck away the shopping when needed. A dining area then leads through to a large lounge spanning the width of the home. Back in the other direction from the front entrance hall the family bathroom is on the right with an adjacent study, leading to the end of the inner hallway and a pretty double bedroom.

Opposite the bathroom on the left is the master; a large double bedroom with en suite shower room. The model shown here is 45ft x 20 and all of Prestige Homeseeker’s homes are available up to 65ft x 22 in either one-, two-, three- or four-bedroom options.
