We take a look at one of Omar’s best-selling lodges, the Westfield. Bella Brodie reports

If you’re familiar with the lodge market you’ll probably have heard of the Westfield before, or at least be familiar with its layout. It’s been one of Omar’s best sellers for years, and that’s for a very good reason as it presents a really affordable option with plenty to enjoy.

For many parks with a hire fleet or where buyers can buy-to-let, the Westfield is a popular choice. It has a lovely, relaxed holiday feel and, with a choice of two new interior design themes to tempt buyers, it has as much mass appeal as ever. The Westfield twin unit shares those themes with the single unit Southwold, giving four very easy choices likely to please most buyers.

The Westfield has plenty of storage, including a walk-in wardrobe on certain floorplans and a cloaks area too, so it has really stayed bang up-to-date with modern trends and holidaymakers’ expectations. The exterior is available in a range of different colours and claddings.

SIZE AND LAYOUT
The 40ft x 20 is a spacious two bedroom option, but as this is one of Omar’s most popular lodges there are several options available. The 36ft x 20 has two double bedrooms and, at 40ft x 20, there’s another option with three double bedrooms.
Very impressively, there’s a 45ft x 20 version with four bedrooms and a walk-in wardrobe and en suite shower room to the master. Whatever the plot size you are looking at, from 36ft x 20 through to

65ft x 22, a Westfield model can be designed to fit. As a potential rental fleet model, the accommodation options are going to have huge appeal for larger families – it’s a bit of a Tardis!

EXTERNAL FEATURES
The exterior retains its distinctive features such as tall, slender windows to the living space, and the angled windows and French doors to the front. As with all Omar models, a range of finishes and colours is available and it is built to residential standard BS 3632: 2015, making it suitable for use at any time of year (park licence permitting)!

Internal features
This really is a very well thought through lodge, as it pretty much suits all tastes, yet is still visually interesting by way of some simple touches. The new colour schemes shown here create a wonderfully relaxed feel, while the fabric patterns add a contemporary twist. For ownership, that means you could easily add a few bits and bobs of your own with no fear of a clash. Vaulted ceilings throughout make it light and airy, and even in the furnishings, comfort and practicality have clearly been key considerations. This is a lodge you can really relax in.
