Abbotts Green

A York House Leisure Park; Abbots Green is a very peaceful and secluded lodge park. It has lots of green space, the park is beautifully laid out and has generous plot sizes. On the edge of the North Yorkshire National Park, Abbots Green is just 15 miles from York and within an hour’s drive from the North Yorkshire coast.

Part of the York House Leisure Group, which also owns the neighbouring York House Holiday Park, demand has been brisk over the past couple of years, and Abbots Green is home to several stunning luxury lodges with some very happy owners.

The group has a number of parks offering holiday and residential accommodation in North Yorkshire and the Dumfries and Galloway area of Scotland. The business is led by brothers Phil and Tim Brierley, who are both hands on in managing the group’s parks and are supported by excellent on-site management teams.

Situated in the small and charming hamlet of Balk with breathtaking views of the Hambleton Hills, Abbots Green ticks all the boxes for those seeking a holiday destination to get away from the stress of everyday life.

Abbots Green provides the perfect location to witness nature at its finest, sitting in five acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. It is an ideal base for walking and rambling, close to the North Yorkshire Moors and the Dales. The North Yorkshire National Park is a ten minute drive away too.

The busy Market Town of Thirsk is no more than five minutes away, allowing owners to enjoy town and country life. The Yorkshire coastline is also readily accessible and can provide great days out exploring remote little coves and traditional seaside towns.
