There are few sites with a setting to rival Cartmel Park. Set in the picturesque village of Cartmel, overlooking Hampsfell in one of the most desirable areas of the South Lakes. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, coastal walks and only 20 minutes from Lake Windermere.
The area has its own eco-climate thanks to the Gulf Stream and the shelter of Cartmel valley. Wherever you go there are areas of great beauty with a rich variety of wildlife (including deer, badgers, squirrels, some rare butterflies, buzzards, herons and more) – all within walking distance.
Historically, Cartmel Park was a traditional camping and caravan site. The current owners moved into the site in March 2012 and have worked tirelessly to turn the site into a highly desirable lodge park benefiting from a 52 week season.
