Park home and lodge site operator, Countrywide Park Homes, has recently secured a multi-million pound deal to sell one of its parks, in a bid to raise capital to source new developments, as part of bold expansion plans. After Countrywide’s acquisition of the exclusive Carlton Meres Country Park in Suffolk back in April, the company has recently sold the plot to Park Holidays for an impressive sum in excess of £13 million.

‘Park Holidays approached us with an offer that has enabled our business to not only secure considerable investment for future developments, it will also boost our current portfolio of 13 parks with plans for new features and improved facilities,’ said Anthony Barney, Countrywide Park Homes’ owner and chairman. He continued, ‘We are seeking to invest in a number of UK locations, both now and in the foreseeable future, so we would like to invite any park owners that are interested in selling to get in touch.’
