The Hull and East Riding Caravan Manufacturers Association runs a couple of trade shows each year, with public visitor days as well. One is at Cottingham, near Hull, and the other is at Beaulieu. The shows are organised by PR agency Teamwork Professionals.
The annual trade show in September, held at The Lawns in Cottingham, near Hull, is Europe’s largest caravan trade show and generally features more than 130 new touring caravans and about 150 caravan holiday-homes and park homes from most of the major British manufacturers.
The show also has a substantial number of supplies and services exhibitors – showing everything from awnings to steps, security products to soft furnishings, etc.
The show attracts over 3,500 trade visitors from throughout the UK, and many parts of Europe and Scandinavia – and sometimes even further afield.
The southern show takes place on the Beaulieu estate in the New Forest, Hampshire. This is the main caravan holiday-home show for the south of England and features many of the static holiday caravans already seen at The Lawns – over 150 – but no touring caravans (or motor caravans) are displayed.
